We attended the Cleveland community's July Fourth festivities on Monday morning. The day was started with the Oakland Presbyterian Youth Pancake Breakfast. Thank you Regina Wright - great job! There were tons of people and even more pancakes...no one left hungry!

Friday the 24th was the long awaited Neuse River Bridge Dedication. I regret that I could not be present for this event, as I was out of town attending a Judge's Conference. I did however have many friends and coworkers who attended and they were kind enough to take some photographs for me, and I would like to share them with you. These are just a few shots from a recent event at the Boys and Girls Club in Selma. They do great work, there servicing around 600 kids - approx. 85 on any given day. Ms. Jean Kelly and Ms. Mamie Moore were just 2 of the wonderful people that I met and talked with today. Lots of food and fun...what a great 'End of Year Celebration' for the kids!
